Manta, Ecuador. This will be definitely an assignment to remember, kilometers, and kilometers of pure destruction. From the many years, I've documented disaster zones, I've never seen such a heartbreaking scene. A dog waiting for his owner, unwilling to leave what used to be his house, his owner died on that same space where we can only see now debris. On assignment for World Animal Protection documenting the medical assistance and food delivery to animals affected in the area.
