Panama City, Panama. A Global Ghost Gear Initiative (GGGI) workshop gathers organizations from Central America and the Caribbean to seek, innovate and create solutions to recover ghost fishing gear that may have been abandoned or lost in the ocean. Many marine species have lost their lives trapped in ghost gear, these organizations gathered to save animals and our oceans from plastic and microplastic pollution. Because when it comes to our oceans' health we need to act together.
