Puno, Peru. After one of the strongest winters locals remember, hundreds of alpacas appeared dead and many pregnant alpacas are at risk of an abortion. Local communities depend on these animals, as selling alpaca wool is their main source of income. On assignment for World Animal Protection, documenting the delivery of medicines and food to protect these animals and the owners who depend on them.
